Without volunteers, many of our programs would not reach our communities. We have a wide variety of opportunities for you to get involved. Find what interests you:
Healthy Choices Healthy Relationships Program
–Our goal is to strengthen our community’s families and marriages. We believe that starts before marriage. It starts in high school! So, we have partnered with Whitfield, Murray, and Gordon County High Schools to be guest speakers for 9th graders during their Health Class. It is a one hour a week for seven weeks commitment. We train interested community members to volunteer teach on topics that affect relationships: developing life goals, basic teen brain development, media, family and Friends influences, dating safety, bullying and empathy, depression and stress, how actions affect those around you, making healthy decisions in life. Family Frameworks provides all the training and materials needs for the Healthy Choices Healthy Relationships Program by The Dibble Institute, no teaching skills required!! The kids love hearing life stories and building a connection with the volunteers. Classes start end of January, beginning of February and end of August beginning for September.
Premarital Mentoring Programs
– Our goal is to strengthen our community’s families and marriages. We believe that starts before marriage. Some 30% of marriages are more successful with premarital counseling. Family Frameworks has partner with the Probate courts to encourage couples getting married to have premarital counseling by offering a discount on their marriage license. We are looking for couples that have been married 15 yrs or more and are interested in helping a young couple through unbiased accountability, love, support and mentorship. We provide all the materials and training for the Start Smart Program by Living the Life. It is a 5 week program with the promise to meet once a year for a few years after. Are you willing to walk with a young couple and change their marriage for years to come?
– We are a small agency and with big hearts and big ideas! We need help marketing those ideas. WE are looking for help in building partner relationships, creating brochures, media activities, website maintenance, program marketing etc.
– We are a volunteer based organization and could not serve the community without the help of the community! We often need help gathering data, filing, organizing teaching materials, restocking supplies, creating documents, preparing for events, and participating at events.
